Privacy notice

Cebu Animal Doctors' Hospital (CADH) is the personal information controller for the data in this notice. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission.

What we collect

• Your name, mobile number, email and address.
• Your pet's details and health record: visits, tests, x-rays, prescriptions, vaccines and photos.
• Bills and payments (we never store full card numbers).
• Website and app data needed to run bookings, and analytics only if you allow it.

Why we use it

• To treat your pet and keep one record across our branches.
• To book visits and send reminders you need, such as vaccine due dates.
• To bill you and meet tax and legal record-keeping rules.
• To send promos and tips, only if you opted in. You can stop any time.

Who sees it

Only CADH staff who need it for your pet's care or your account. We share data with service providers who host our systems, send our email and process payments, under written agreements. We share records with another vet or specialist only with your consent, and with government only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Health records and invoices are kept for the periods required by law and professional rules (generally 5 to 10 years), then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent for promos. Some records must be kept by law even if you ask to delete them; we will tell you which. Contact our Data Protection Officer: how to reach the DPO. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission.

Security

Records are encrypted in transit, access is limited by role, every change is logged, and backups are tested. If a breach could harm you, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission within 72 hours.
